"A Story That's Time to Tell - Again"

There is nutraceutical product formulation that I have spoken about a lot on the radio because I felt it was sent to save my life. It was a hot day in early August 15 years ago. I was helping a friend remodel his old apartment building across from the McKinley Monument in Canton, Ohio. I was sent home with antibiotics and recovered. Soon I was feeling well enough to manage a booth at the Stark County Fair. After working in the heat, dust, and crowds during the 12 hour days, I started getting ill about the 3rd day but kept going. Having been ill, I had not lined up much help. I'm a tuff ole farm boy. I can do it!

On the 6th day I was ready to collapse. The doctor put me on not one but two antibiotics. She said I had relapsed and now had Pneumonia. She said, "If you are not improved, I want to see you back here in 3 days." The next day I cracked a rib trying to cough. I was unable to cough anything out of my lungs, not even after nebulizing with "mucomist", etc.... The next day I was worse. My fever was going up and my breathing was getting harder.

Any infection, especially in the lungs, can be more serious for me than many people because my lungs, liver, and kidneys have been filled with Mercury and Lead from childhood when we sprayed chemicals in our orchards.

In my half delirious state, I noticed an audio cassette tape sitting on my desk that seemed to keep staring at me. A friend had sent me the tape months before. He called me 3 times over the summer to ask if I had listened to the tape. I had not. I did not want to listen to it for all the normal reasons and perhaps some uncommon reasons. Firstly, I could not pronounce the word on the label and the name of the unknown Doctor sounded more like a made up foreign name. I just didn’t have time to listen to it. In a moment of unthinking, I put that tape in the tape recorder and pushed play. It was right after I heard the doctor on the tape tell about a man who was sent home from the Mayo Clinic to die with in-operable tumors in his lungs.
