Just what IS Network Marketing?

These associates also earn a commission based on the sales efforts of their organization/downline, which include their independent sale efforts as well as the leveraged sales efforts of their downline. This arrangement is quite similar to a franchise arrangement where royalties are paid from the sales of individual franchise operations to the franchisor as well as to a local manager, area and regional manager (3 or 4 distinct upline levels of management). Commissions are paid to Network Marketing associates consistent with the company’s published financial compensation program. There can be a multiple of levels of which people may receive royalties from one person's sales (leveraging of one’s sales efforts); similar to commissions paid on an insurance policy sale and subsequent perpetual commissions or royalties paid ‘up-the-line’ of various managers and or supervisors.
